Accessing the ADRF
The ADRF provides a remote desktop experience which is securely hosted in Amazon's AWS GovCloud. This environment is accessed using a service called NoMachine, which provides a virtual desktop within a web browser. For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to access the ADRF.
Open your NoMachine remote desktop client (NoMachine installation and configuration guide here) or if you do not have NoMachine go to https://workspaces.applieddataanalyticsprogram.org in your web browser. Enter your username and password at the login prompt and click the OK button.
Next, using the OTP application you configured in the claiming your username guide, generate a new 6 digit code, enter it, and click the OK button.
Once logged in, click the Create a new desktop icon as shown below. Please be patient, as it takes some time to provision the desktop.
Several informational screens will be shown. Proceed by clicking the OK button on each. When you reach the Display resolution page, it is recommended to check the Change the server resolution box as shown. Click OK.
You should now see a screen similar to that shown below. You are now in the ADRF! If at any time you need to adjust your remote desktop settings, such as the display, hover your mouse in the top-right corner. A page curl will appear (shown) which you may click to be taken to the settings.
Now that you are in the ADRF, it's time to familiarize yourself with some of the tools. Check out the Using ADRF Explorer section to get started.
